1. General Refund Policy
At VCCI Akola, we strive to provide excellent services to our members. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be provided and the process for requesting them.
Important: All refund requests must be submitted within the specified time frames mentioned in this policy.
2. Membership Fees
2.1 Annual Membership
- Within 7 days: Full refund if membership benefits have not been utilized
- 8-30 days: 50% refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- After 30 days: No refund available
2.2 Lifetime Membership
- Within 15 days: 80% refund if no services have been utilized
- 16-60 days: 50% refund may be considered
- After 60 days: No refund available
3. Event Registration Fees
3.1 Conferences and Seminars
- 30+ days before event: Full refund minus processing fee (₹100)
- 15-29 days before event: 75% refund
- 7-14 days before event: 50% refund
- Less than 7 days: No refund, but transfer to future event allowed
3.2 Training Programs
- Before program starts: Full refund minus ₹200 processing fee
- After program starts: No refund available
4. Business Listing Fees
- Premium Listing: Refund available within 48 hours if listing is not published
- Featured Listing: Pro-rated refund available if cancelled mid-term
- Basic Listing: Generally non-refundable due to low cost
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are generally non-refundable:
- Processing and administrative fees
- Services that have been fully delivered
- Membership benefits that have been utilized
- Promotional or discounted memberships
- Third-party services arranged through VCCI
6. Refund Process
6.1 How to Request a Refund
- Submit a written request to refunds@vcciakola.org
- Include your membership/transaction ID
- Provide reason for refund request
- Attach relevant supporting documents
6.2 Processing Time
- Review Period: 5-7 business days
- Approval Notification: Within 2 business days of review
- Refund Processing: 7-14 business days after approval
6.3 Refund Method
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
- Bank transfer may be used if original method is unavailable
- Processing fees may apply for certain refund methods
7. Special Circumstances
7.1 Event Cancellation by VCCI
- Full refund provided if event is cancelled by VCCI
- Alternative: Credit for future events
- Refund includes any additional fees paid
7.2 Service Interruption
- Pro-rated refund for extended service outages
- Credit towards future services may be offered
- Compensation based on impact and duration
7.3 Exceptional Cases
- Medical emergencies with proper documentation
- Natural disasters or force majeure events
- Technical issues preventing service access
8. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision:
- Contact our customer service team for review
- Provide additional documentation if available
- Request escalation to management if needed
- Final decisions will be communicated in writing
